ABA Celebrates 30 Consecutive Years of
Bonus Dividends To Our Members!
~ A Bonus/Dividend of $3,317,739 was Paid to ABA Members in October 2004 ~
Did you know that all of our members have Workers Compensation Insurance through the SCF Arizona? Last October almost all ABA members received an annual Bonus Dividend check or credit from the SCF Arizona for the year 2003. Your Individual Dividend plus an added Bonus of 55% is what made up the total of that check. Our association as a whole receives a Bonus as an incentive for keeping losses low. That means, high losses from any member in our association have the effect of lowering the total Bonus Dividend from the SCF Arizona. If your business did not receive a Bonus Dividend Check this year it was most likely due to high losses within your business.
The real issue here is Safety. Does your business nurture a Culture of Safety? Do you have a Written Safety Program? Safety Meetings? Ongoing Safety Training? Have you taken advantage of FREE training seminars from ADOSH and SCF Arizona? If the answer is no to any of these questions it may be the reason why your business is not receiving the Bonus Dividend Check it deserves. But, more importantly your employees have the right and deserve to work in a safe environment. A Safe Workplace shows that you care about their well-being which in turn improves morale which in turn increases productivity leading to a more profitable business. That is a fact.
